Hello all,
I try to check MD5 autentication with ntpd daemon. I run ntpd with following
options:

/usr/local/bin/ntpd -a -g -t 2 -l /var/tmp/ntp.log -d

in /etc/ntp.conf file i put string connected with authentication and keys it
looks like

authenticate yes
keys /etc/ntp.keys

Unfortunatelly my client machine is properly synchronized even though key
no. 2 is untrusted.
I have checked MD5 with "ntpdate" command and all works properly - station
is synchronized only
in case when i try to do it with key no. 1 (trusted). Can somebody explain
me what i do wrong ?

regards
chris
