[ntp:questions] uclinux and ntpd

Hi,
I am running ntpd(version 4.1.1) from the uclinux-dist in my
target(microblaze) running at 60mhz and trying to sync my system time
with one of the internal server which has startum 1 source.  I am
getting a periodic time slip with clock moving from stratum 2 to 16
and back to stratum2. I am not sure is it uClinux/microblaze specific.
I used the default config.h for the uclinux.

I used the same config.h to configure it to run in the native desktop
linux passing the same ntp.conf and i see it is getting synchronised
one shot and no drift after that (in the last one day atleast).  So i
am just wondering is it specific to uClinux/microblaze as it works ok
on the native linux.

Has anybody running ntpd successfully without stratum drift in the
uclinux? I posted the same question in the uclinux forum.
Any pointers on what may be the reason this is happening will be really helpful.
