The above was posted on Sat, 23 Jun 2007. I am writing this on
Sat, 30 Jun 2007 -- a week later.

http://www.ntp.org/downloads.html has these version numbers:

Current versions of NTP
Release Version Date
Production 4.2.4p3 2007/06/29
Development 4.2.5p57 2007/06/28

http://www.meinberg.de/english/sw/ntp.htm has these version numbers:

ntp-4.2.0a at mbg-fluxcap-v2-o-win32-setup.exe NTP v4.2.0a,
NTP v4 stable development release ... This "stable" version
is based on an old release (4.2.0a) that has been enhanced
with a number of important Windows specific bugfixes.

ntp-4.2.0b at 1.1436mbg-xmas-o-win32-setup.exe NTP v4.2.0b,
NTP v4 tested development release ... A number of bug
reports indicate that this version can cause instability
on certain systems, a stable version is available for customers
experiencing such a problem with this version.

Am I wrong, or is Meinberg four versions behind?
If so, is this a problem?
