[ntp:questions] "Trapping" in ntpd

Where can I find more info on "trapping".  I found some info on the
Miscellaneous Options Page at
http://www.eecis.udel.edu/~mills/ntp/html/miscopt.html

But thats it.  I really don't have any idea on how to set it up and log
info to a file.

I also have a question concerning the notrap restriction. 
If one uses the noquery restriction, then does the notrap option do
anything?  I think not.  If all queries are blocked then how can one do
any trapping?  Is this correct?
