Change the running environment to allow a core dump
probably something in the veine of: ( lookup man ulimit on/for your system
	ulimit -c <large number>

inspect the coredump with
	gdb <path to executable> <path to corefile>

otherwise:
you can attach to a running process via:

	gdb <path to executable> <PID>

type cont(inue)
wait for crash
type bt
	# as in backtrace.
