When you compare the versions of the release you're using and the
current stable release (4.2.2p1 vs 4.2.6p2) you might think there's not
much difference. But 4.2.2* is actually 2 development cycles behind
4.2.6* We only provide patches and updates for the current stable
release (4.2.6*) and the current ntp-dev (4.2.7*).

4.2.2p1 looks like v4.2.2.1 but is really Protocol 4 v2.2.1

4.2.6p2 looks like v4.2.6.2 but is really Protocol 4 v2.6.2
