I wondered about that. There are only ~ 90k lines in ntpd/*.c which
includes all the refclocks (46k lines) and just 4,168 lines (~3,000 without
comments) in ntp_proto.c. The largest blob is ~5,000 in the ntp.conf parser
out of 42k lines in ntp*.c.
