Hello All,
Referred the details given in
http://bugs.ntp.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2855 &
http://lists.ntp.org/pipermail/bk-ntp-stable-send/2015-June/000690.html
for the ntpd implementation with "leapsmear" patch ( for non public
servers)

Please suggest :

For unix /Linux machines :
Precisely followed the steps given in the above link:
got the latest dev source 4.3.72 (dev version) and used ./configure with
--enable-leap-smear as described.

Question:>
Understood that:
NTP Client for Windows already Contains a Workaround
--------------------------------------------
+Thus it is not required to use a smearing NTP server for Windows clients,
+but of course the smearing server approach also works.

How to apply "smearing server approach" for windows based systems (windows
7 precisely -- if I need to do that for consistency sake)
1 )Are there any binaries which I can use (or a patch readily available)
which is built for windows ( or should I follow the same approach for
windows based systems(i.e build the latest dev-version 4.3.72 and use
./configure with --enable-leap-smear configuration), will the "configure"
script work on windows machines .

thanks ,
Shyam
