        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: CONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P5
         Component: ntpd
        AssignedTo: stenn at ntp.org
        ReportedBy: perlinger at ntp.org
                CC: bugs at ntp.org
    Classification: Unclassified

Linux defines a way to handle nanosecs in the ntpadtimex() API. Using the
interface needs a bit of cleanup to avoid excessive '#ifdef' cascades and get a
more uniform handling of timestamps in the 'struct timex' data.
