Summary: ntpd cannot enumerate IPv6 addresses in Linux
           Product: ntp
           Version: dev
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: ntpd
        AssignedTo: mayer at ntp.org
        ReportedBy: mayer at ntp.org
                CC: bugs at ntp.org

Due to the very strange way that Linux chose to have applications
retrieve IPv6 interfaces and addresses ifiter_ioctl.c cannot
fetch the addresses. This problem has been fixed in BIND 9.3.0
sources and will require that a new version be copied over and
used.

In the meantime IPv6 on Linux is not supported.
