I don't know what you are suspicious of. The main change in recvbuff.c is to
ensure that IO is blocked when adding or removing a buffer to/from the lists.
Brian and I worked this out on Wednesday or Thursday when reviewing the core
dumps. The problem appears to be due to the mallocs and frees when using polling.
The other patch is that the buffer list was not always being completely emptied.
