Hm... bug #596 looks as if either the discussion is not yet settled or you've
made an "out-of-band agreement" (so to speak) on the patch.

I'm not sure whether I should take Danny's first patch, because it sounds like
there is a better patch somewhere else.

I just noticed there is a new point release available, so I'll try that until
the situation is clarified for me.
