-4 option is according to the code and the option documentation
just a default name resolution preference for the address family. So far
-4 and -6 have not implied the the daemon runs IPv4 or IPv6 exclusively.
In that light attempting to bind to the wildcard address for both families
seems perfectly legal.
Maybe we should rather find out in what way AIX differs from the
rest of the known worlds (BSD, Linux, Sun, Windows).
(BTW the daemon also does not seem prepared to be compile IPv6 only)
