I think I understand what I'm doing wrong. Thanks for keeping me honest. I'm
trying very hard to get us away from this code since most of the newer versions
of Windows will have support for getaddrinfo() in the shipped dll's. The only
reason your code that checks for that is not in the codebase right now is due to
needing to debug this problem.
