Oops, sorry. I meant -l stdout.

1) As I recall, there are some issues with addresses beyond site-local and I
will need to look back at this. It's been a while, but I believe that sending
site-local packets from the link-local interface is the correct thing to do
though I don't remember the reference. I spent a lot of time figuring all of the
multicasting out since it's really not well documented and ntp is one of the few
protocols that actively uses it, but I've already forgotten some of the details! :)

2) Agreed. I'm still not sure about this. Broadcast, for example, does it on
every interface.

3) Yes, but it shouldn't have been using the wildcard interface in the first place.
