The -DCOMPAT_43 flag actually results in a ntpd binary that segfaults and dumps
core. Could I get a copy of a working AIX 5.3 socket.h file? If I compile with
that and it works I'll see if I can modify configure.ac to catch this special
case with the socket.h file I have.
