Harlan,

Browsers ignore line breaks, but when cutting and pasting between
applications, preparing HTML data and resizing windows, it is very much
more convenient to format pages one line per paragraph and let the
application insert line breaks consistent with the window width. Some
years ago I converted all the document pages to this format and I really
don't want to go back, especially for pages merged in the documents from
me. I have no problem should somebody insert line breaks for private
purpose, but I will take them out when updating the document collection.

Dave
