I just tested 4.2.4 again on *BSD with name resolution disabled. It correctly
waits until a name resolution is possible.

Danny, the FORCE_DNSRETRY option is also available in the Unix ntp_intres.c
implementation.
So this option would be there, but in the environment where
I tested it isn't needed as EAI_NONAME does not seem to be returned here when
dns servers are not reachable.
