I fixed what I described in Comment #13, the remaining call site of 
CreateThread was changed to _beginthreadex and the associated ExitThread call 
to _endthreadex.

For bugs I filed before I had an account on pogo, you complained that I should 
not attach patches to bugs but should prepare repos.  Well, I prepared a repo 
and apparently that's too difficult to review?
