Hi Lee,

Dave Hart found that this issue was fixed in 4.2.0b-RC1, and was been part of
4.2.1 (a development release) in August of 2005, which would have been
part of 4.2.2.

4.2.2 was first released in June of 2006 (we subsequently published 4.2.2p1,
p2, p3, and p4), and the next major release, 4.2.4, was released in December of
2006 (and had 7 patch releases, p1 ... p7). This code may have "missed" the
original release of 4.2.2, but it was part of the first patch (4.2.2p1).

Following that, 4.2.6 (a major release) was released in December of 2009, and
we're about to start the release process for our next major release, 4.2.8.

If you are running debian, please take a look at:

 http://packages.ntp.org/debian/

or

 http://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=ntp

We generally support only the most-recent major release.

Support for "older" major releases is available via contract.

Therefore, I'm marking this as WONTFIX.

If you disagree, please let me know.
