Dear Danny, 
2 IPv4 addresses have been configured. No IPv6 address is configured. This must
have happened after few months of IP setup. 
The notable problem appears to be a memory overwrite. For example:
argument count (argc) at frame 9 in gdb shows the value as 4 while
argument count (argc) at frame 8 in gdb shows the value as 443392.
