[ntp-GSoC] [gsoc][questions regarding "Monitoring / Management front end " idea]

Hello,

    My name is Adrian Spiridon, I'm a final year bachelor student studying
computer science at Politehnica University of Bucharest, Romania.My main
interests are network management, network security and distributed systems.
I have over 4 years of C/C++ experience, advanced operating
system knowledge ( processes, daemons, sockets, file system, kernel) and I
am also CISCO certified.
    I would like to express my interest in the  "Monitoring / Management
front end" idea. I think it's a great opportunity for learning and I would
like to contribute to the project.
    I have some questions regarding the implementation of the project :

1) Should I consider implementing only one of the TUI or GUI versions of
the front end, or both of them ?
 2) The application should use only the suggested libraries and toolkits
(ncurses, perl/tk, WxWindows) or other libraries/toolkits/programming
languages can also be used (e.g : Qt/C++) ?
