Hi Folks--

I've found the ppsapi patch for the GENERIC (type 8) refclock
on bugzilla and applied it here. So far it seems to be working
well with a surplus Trimble SV6 in TSIP mode. Here's a sample
billboard:

     remote refid st t when poll reach delay offset jitter
==============================================================================
*GPS_NMEA(0)     .GPS.            0 l  367  512  377    0.000   -0.001   0.005
+GENERIC(0)      .GPS.            0 l   10   64  377    0.000    0.014   0.003
+wraith.wraith.s .GPS.            1 u  389  512  377    0.197    0.017   0.012
+thrall.wraith.s .GPS.            1 u  385  512  377    0.189    0.026   0.005
+smidge.wraith.s .GPS.            1 u    9   64  377    0.295    0.002   0.018

I'm not sure why the NMEA refclock is "stepping out" its polling
interval, but the generic driver looks very good so far.
I did use the tsipchat program to put the SV6 into "time only"
mode before firing up ntpd.

Thanks for the patch!

../Steven
