Just do 'svcadm disable /site/ntpd' as root and it will be disabled in SMF.
You then would need to 'svcadm enable /site/ntpd' for it to start up, or you
can still use the a legacy init.d script as before.  This is one of the
biggest changes/features of Sol 10.
