I don't see any reason why we should extort money from vendors who
do the right thing already.

We have one blatantly stupid and incompetent vendor who needs to
clean up their mess.

As far as I know, nobody else are guilty of anything similar.

(Netgear has already compensated U.Wisc. for their blunder).

I would think that a bunch of cease&desist letters with attached
demands for compensation from the S1 servers and some publicity
would make D-Link subject to an educational experience.

But I would like to hear from more S1 server people before we
decide anything.
