I don't want to cripple sensible modern systems just to cope with
historically challenged systems.

If you have a system without IP_RECVDSTADDR and you have a thousand
interfaces, then you should talk to your OS vender anyhow.

At some point we have to jettison support for CrayOS and ConvexOS
and the other relics.  They're supported in the "old" codebase, and
they can continue to run that code.
