Well, the last message in the thread last May was from Danny and said:

 >I agree. We can make the 4.2.1 release the final non-Ansi C standard

You did not object at that time. In fact, your last message in the
thread seemed very supportive of the change, noting that it was a
burden to the project to continue to support K&R.

If we wait for 4.3, how long would that be? Or could we just stipulate
that 4.3 would be the next release?
