[ntp:hackers] Problems running ./bootstrap

Hi all,

when I try to run ./bootstrap on a freshly cloned current BK repo on my
Solaris 9 machine I get the following error:

-------------------------------------------------------------------
...
autoreconf: Entering directory `sntp'
autoreconf: running: aclocal -I libopts/m4
autoreconf: configure.ac: not using Libtool
configure.ac:13: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_DISABLE_SHARED
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
      See the Autoconf documentation.
configure.ac:15: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_PROG_LIBTOOL
autoreconf: /usr/local/bin/autoconf failed with exit status: 1
-------------------------------------------------------------------

There's GNU automake 1.10 and GNU autoconf 2.60 from sunfreeware
installed on that machine (the current versions available at sunfreeware).

The bootstrap script runs without error on pogo under Solaris 10,
automake 1.10, but autoconf 2.61.

However, it even works fine on an older Linux machine using automake
1.9.5 and autoconf 2.59.

So is this a problem wu´ith the input files, or a bug in autoconf 2.60?
Should I open a NTP bugzilla issue on this?

Thanks,

Martin
