"The NMEA ref clock driver is currently hardwaired to a paltry B4800.
modern GPS
units output much faster, typically at B115200.  this reduces the latency of the
messages such that they would be closer to a 1PPS signal (ie fall within the 128
millisec cut off).  suggest we use the flag4 option to configure the baud
instead of hardwaired in sources!"
