Dear colleague,
The National Institute of Standards and Technology of the Department
of Commerce
is considering changing the mode of operation of the NIST Internet Time
service, and is
soliciting comments and information about this proposed change.
The details of the proposed change and the formal Request for
Comments have been published on
the FedBizOps web page on 18 March 2014; the comment period will close
after 60 days on
18 May 2014.
The reference for the FedBizOps notice is at https://www.fbo.gov/
index?s=opportunity&mode=form&id=4f5c8b176af03d89abb1a318624c944b&tab=core&_cview=0
The same solicitation of information will also be published in the
Federal Register, but I
do not have the reference number for this publication at this time.
Please send any comments by e-mail to thomas.obrian at nist.gov. All
comments will be published
on the NIST web page as they are received, and comments should not
contain any privileged or
proprietary information.
Please forward this information to anyone who might wish to provide
comments.
