Harlan: No. I said it depends on the target *platform*, i.e. target 
hardware, e.g. ARM vs. x86.

Of course I would basically expect the same warnings if I compile the 
same source for the same OS using the same type of compiler. However, in 
this case there are *additional* warnings which are platform-specific 
for ARM.
