Silly thing is: I *always* work within a transaction, exactly for this 
reason - so I could type ABORT; and all would be well.  But I have been 
ill, and apparently was more tired than I felt, so I typed END; and only 
noticed later...

Sorry folks.

But since the history data is not that important, I didn't bother to fetch 
the backup.
