[Pool] time_pps_fetch() error -1 (Connection timed out)

 Nevermind. Problem solved.  It appears I was using an RS232 cable that
didn't seem to be PPS friendly. It allowed GPS data to get through, but
that was it. Once I swapped cables, I was golden.
