[ntp:questions] Fudging localclock time2 (newbie question)

OK, so I set localclock (127.127.1.0) as server with:
server localclock
fudge localclock stratum 10.

The question is: should I also copy the drift value from ntp.drift 
into:
fudge localclock time2 driftvalue 
or would this end up driving the ntp.drift value to zero when ntpd is
being controlled by localclock?

System is normally synchronized up to various ntp servers, but
occassionally the internet connection drops out and the link may or
may not restart automatically.
