The question comes from a heated argument, of course laced with a little 
beer. I argued otherwise, but admit I was wrong. I argued that 12:00:01 
was the "first" tick of PM and 12:00:00 was the last tick of AM. One 
could expand that to 12:00.00 is the still AM, but 
12:00:00.............01 is the PM. It's a little like your birthday -- 
it's the first day of the NEXT year of your life. The day before 
finished the previous year, the year celebrated!
