Can you tell me the difference between a poor implementation
and something that is not NTP? Are you sure that ntpd is a
100% perfect implementation of the NTP protocol?

The point is that the SNTP client from Microsoft no matter how
poor it is, is an implementation of the SNTP protocol. As such
there is nothing wrong with asking questions on this group which
is about the protocol and not the program.
