I need to fix that when I get a moment. It's silly and doesn't do anything
useful for you. I change it to just log where it's reading the file.

Has nothing to do with the service.

Do you mean ntpd -n -l stdout?
You can't use -p by itself in a Windows environment as it normally runs
as a service.
