It depends on what satellites you are talking about.  Obviously you are
talking about GPS birds, but a decade ago GOES satellite clocks were somewhat
common and the situation isn't nearly so automatic there.

(Sometimes I feel like I'm the last guy who has to deal with GOES
time receivers...)
