Hi Folks--

The type 6 (IRIG Audio) is working here with a PC motherboard audio device:

gnu at ring.wraith.sf.ca.us[1084] ntpq -c "cv 32357"
assID=32357 status=0303 clk_fault, last_clk_fault,
device="Generic IRIG Audio Driver",
timecode="00 0  0 353 03:18:56 2929 255  0.590 20   -0.0  215.2 3312328735.732828",
poll=35, noreply=1, badformat=0, baddata=0, fudgetime1=0.000, stratum=0,
refid=IRIG, flags=10

gnu at ring.wraith.sf.ca.us[1085] ntpq -p
      remote refid st t when poll reach delay offset jitter
==============================================================================
*GPS_NMEA(0)     .GPS.            0 l   15   64  377    0.000   -0.001   0.002
xIRIG_AUDIO(0)   .IRIG.           0 l   17   64  377    0.000  -732.80   0.125

The offset is due to having set the time via front panel switches. The
IRIG signal comes from a military surplus Datum 9150. The IRIG signal is
run into the "line in" port on the motherboard. The ntpd code was the
bitkeeper pull as of today (17 dec 2004). OS is linux 2.4.20-NANO with
the ALSA audio driver.
