The Oncore driver will do all this for you.  It is controlled by the 
MODE parameter in /etc/ntp.oncore0.  You can also download "WinOncore12" 
from Motorola (there's a link at the Synergy web site).  WinOncore12 
will do a site survey with graphical output showing the data used; e.g. 
all position points used to arrive at the calculated value.  Typically 
the reported positions will be within a circle with a radius of about 
300 feet.  You grab enough points to find the center of that circle.
WinOncore12 will also display a bar graph of satellite signal strengths 
or a sky map of satellite positions.  It's a very nice program to have.
