Is that right?  I thought ntpdate used 123 by default so it gets an error
message if ntpd is running rather than trashing the clock out from under

The html doc says -u and -d use an unprivileged port, but I don't
see any place where it says which port it uses if you don't specify
-u or -d.

The suespammers.org mail server is located in California.  So are all my
other mailboxes.  Please do not send unsolicited bulk e-mail or unsolicited
commercial e-mail to my suespammers.org address or any of my other addresses.
