[ntp:questions] Is this anomaly me, NTP, or my ISP?

My ISP has four IPs that respond to NTP requests and when I add them to my
server list, they look like this (with the others removed):

ntpq> pe
remote refid st t when poll reach delay offset jitter
============================================================== ================
xpth-cdns02.plus 82.228.182.88 15 u 529 1024 377 19.942 593.877 2.255
-pth-cdns01.plus 212.159.6.10 4 u 509 1024 377 19.244 0.346 0.510
xptn-cdns02.plus 82.228.182.88 15 u 506 1024 377 18.428 593.330 0.031
-ptn-cdns01.plus 212.159.6.10 4 u 507 1024 377 33.984 8.189 7.356

also,
ntptrace pth-cdns01.plus.net
pth-cdns01.plus.net: stratum 4, offset 0.007135, synch distance 0.15144
ptn-cdns02.plus.net: stratum 15, offset 0.587438, synch distance 0.09976
fennas.vuntz.net: stratum 14, offset 0.606379, synch distance 0.01228

However, if I use the excellent external tool at
http://www.vanheusden.com/query_ntp.php, then you see:
ntptrace
pth-cdns01.plus.net: stratum 4, offset 0.001408, synch distance 0.15280
ptn-cdns02.plus.net: stratum 3, offset 0.004639, synch distance 0.11626
armagnac.ifi.unizh.ch: stratum 2, offset 0.016466, synch distance 0.06450
hora.cs.tu-berlin.de: stratum 1, offset -0.000485, synch distance 0.00029, refid
'PPS'

I haven't a clue what is going on here!!! Does anybody else?

My server is running on w2k with the ntp version date reported as 2004 May 07.

Geoff (resent with right address - hopefully)
