Thanks for the reply. Here are some excerpt from my /var/log/messages
(specific IPs and hostnames edited away):

And from here on the "sendto" error message happened frequently, and
all of them involved the 3 IP addresses I mentioned in my previous
post.

Any suggestion is welcome!
