Dear All,
I'm implementing NTP for the first time. I've
installed win32 port of NTP on winXP pro. On system
startup or restarting the ntp service the ntpd
synchronises the system time for once. For testing I
changed the system time manually and waited for 5
hours, but the system time not synchronised. ntpdate
works but it requires to shutdown the ntp service.

mine ntpd.conf -->

driftfile "C:\Program Files\NTP\etc\ntp.drift"

 server 0.asia.pool.ntp.org iburst
 server 1.asia.pool.ntp.org iburst
 server 2.asia.pool.ntp.org iburst
 server 0.us.pool.ntp.org iburst
 server 1.us.pool.ntp.org iburst
 server 2.us.pool.ntp.org iburst

server asia.pool.ntp.org

Regards
santosh...
