[ntp:questions] "ntpd -q" is slow compared to ntpdate

More precisely, the sntp code in the current distribution is effectively the
msntp package with a bunch of inappropriate things turned off.

I'm hoping the new sntp code will be in the 4.2.6 release, which will happen
as soon as somebody can fix the blocking bugs.  For info on that, please
