going back from who is using the relevant port is allways usefull ;-)

( cd /proc ; ls -l $(fuser -v -n udp ntp 2>/dev/null )/exe )
--> lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root 0 Sep  9 04:10 25843/exe -> /usr/sbin/ntpd
