I've just found that reg.exe can be used on 2000, many people seem to 
just have coppied it from XP to 2k.  Will try that later.  It is said 
it's on the 2k install CD too, just you have to go find it yourself.

I just tried it here, and it seems to work OK, at least the query 
function did.
