Hi all
I am trying to understand the numbers below from a "show ntp associations"
on a cisco switch.
The 2 ip's are located very close to each other physically and is
synchronising with which in turn is synchronising with our dc

why the difference in numbers? and what does the numbers "when", "poll" ,
"delay" "offset" and "disp" mean? ?

     address ref clock st when poll reach
delay  offset    disp
*~     4   561  1024  377     0.8  -36.56
+~       5   636  1024  377     1.3  -18.40
 * master (synced), # master (unsynced), + selected, - candidate, ~

I am sorry if i am a little naive in asking you this, and would be glad if
you could recommend a good faq on this...
