Hi all,
I am running ntp client in multicast mode, and i want it not to transmit any
unicast messages to server. i used 'novolley' option to avoid it, but it
seems its not working correctly as unicast messages are still transmitted.
here is my ntp.conf

multicastclient 224.0.1.1 novolley
disable auth

OR

multicastclient novolley 224.0.1.1
disable auth

Both of the above configs dont work for me , and unicast messages are still
transmitted by client.

I am using following version of ntpd:-
root at spider ~]# ntpd --version
ntpd - NTP daemon program - Ver. 4.2.4p7

It seems that novolley option is only valid for broadcastclient , is it true
?

Please help.
Regards,
Atul.
