No transmitter has infinitely steep stop bands in frequency space. There
is ALWAYS bleedover, proportional to the main signal strength. Plus some
of those transmitters WILL be badly engineered, or will drift due to
aging. It IS just plain stupid to put a strong signal next to a band you
know contains weak signals.
